About

🏠 My name is Maika, pronounced (My-Kah). I was born in Tokyo, and have lived all over the world. To me, home is where you make it. I have close ties to Minnesota, New Mexico, Tokyo, and San Francisco.

🎓 I graduated from Stanford University with a BS in Symbolic Systems. My concentration was in artificial intelligence. I also captained Stanford’s 8-time national champion women’s ultimate frisbee team. Instead of high school, I attended the University of Minnesota full-time to study physics.

🌀 Right now, I’m building a company – It’s called Webacy. Webacy is building a safer web3 for everyone. We’re creating infrastructure to help you protect your digital assets (social media, crypto, etc.) for the unexpected. Webacy was recognized in Forbes 30 Under 30.

⚙️ I’m available for consulting and contract work. I’ve been a TV reporter and creative for a Japanese show called ‘Earthshot TV,’ a speaker at events and conferences, an advisor, and more. Previously, I was a cybersecurity engineer at Microsoft.

👙 I used to be a professional acrobat. First it was with Spiegelworld’s “Absinthe” as part of the duo straps act for their international show in Australia. Then it was as the beach girl in the rings trio act in Cirque Du Soleil’s “TOTEM” in Canada, Japan, Russia, and Europe. I’m also a certified personal trainer.

🗣️ I love meeting new people and having interesting conversations. If you want to connect, contact me here, or message me directly on any of the social media platforms.
